Young Democratic Socialists-Eastern Regional Conference April 6-8th, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY

The YDS Eastern Regional Conference will be hosted in Ithaca, NY this year at Cornell University. The weekend will include a program of small group workshops, panel discussions, and creative resistance events. Speakers will include local as well as international activists, leaders and scholars. The conference is open to all that are interested. Housing is included in registration.

YDS feels that cooperation between organizing efforts on the ground is pivotal to obtaining social justice in the future. Under the illegitimate presidency of George W. Bush, the need for alliance is stronger than ever. We hope that this conference can provide the student movement with the tools necessary to create organizational bonds-between labor, the community, NGO's and students-that will benefit the movement in the long-run.
