Saturday, September 29 from 9:00am to 3:00pm
University of D.C. Auditorium - Washington, D.C.
The current crisis requires a thoughtful and dynamic response. Those committed to genuine democracy, justice, and a sustainable and peaceful society are looking for every opportunity to come together, deliberate, and decide upon a common agenda for addressing the crisis.
The IMF/World Bank meetings have been postponed, and the long-prepared-for Mobilization for Global Justice protests have been called off. Nonetheless, thousands of individuals plan to travel to Washington D.C. this week to participate in anti-war activities.
We ask those planning or considering a trip to Washington D.C. this week to join in participating in our conference, which is a project of the Green Party of the United States Steering Committee and of the D.C. Statehood Greens. It's purpose is to assist Greens and allies in organizing our contributions to the larger anti-war, pro-democracy, anti-racist, and social justice movements.
