Rob is a lecturer for the Department of City and Regional Planning at Cornell University, where he teaches Green Cities
He was appointed by New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman as Executive Director of the first statewide Office of Sustainability in the United States and is the author of "Sustainable Commerce," a series of articles for In Business magazine (Rodale Press), "The Second Industrial Revolution," "A New Paradigm For Energy And Economics," "The End Of Sprawl," "Subsidies And Free Market Fallacies," "Truth, Beauty And The Bottom Line, "Third World As Center Stage," "The Undiscovered Country,"
Rob was a featured speaker for the series Creating a Just and Sustainable Society and is owner and manager of Future Farm, in Van Etten, New York, producing organic vegetables year-round in his compost-heated greenhouse. Rob Young was recently elected to GreenStar's council.
