Hello Greens and friends,
Very large turnout at last week's regular Green Party meeting. Much still undecided about strategy but this much is clear:
We are forming at least four Green Committees: please contact us if you are interested, and attend the next meeting at Autumn Leaves, this coming Wed. Nov. 27th. 6:00.
1. CANDIDATE COMMITTEE, (to begin in January), seeks out and works with potential Green candidates for next November's Common Council and Mayoral races. We will definitely run candidates.
2. ANTI-WAR COMMITTEE: public education, protest, direct action.
3. SOCIAL JUSTICE COMMITTEE: continues Pete Meyer's and other's work on restorative justice.
4. LIVING WAGE COMMITTEE: WalMart et. al. will pay a living wage.
